I’m Nasreen Sultana Mitu, a cartoonist and science educator from Bangladesh. My journey, spanning two decades and counting, blends art and education; whether I’m drawing comics, developing science textbooks, or helping teachers find creative ways to make learning fun. As the founder of Project Tiktaalik, I focus on making science accessible and enjoyable for all. My illustrations and educational resources have reached students and teachers across the country. I’ve contributed to national curriculum development, designed and illustrated science textbooks, and created educational materials for diverse groups, including Rohingya children. As Associate Editor of Unmad magazine and Executive Editor of Dhaka Comics, I also work in satire and comics publishing. My work has been recognised in exhibitions and honoured with awards, but what matters most to me is sparking curiosity and sharing the joy of discovery.
When I’m not working, I’m happiest sharing laughter and stories with my little family.
